Marissa Rae Niederhauser
GYROTONIC® Instructor
Marissa Rae Niederhauser is a lifelong dance artist who has been teaching Gyrotonic exercise for a decade. She credits her Gyrotonic practice with keeping her body in dancing condition into her 40s. She found her way to the Gyrotonic method in the process of rehabbing after a hip surgery and still finds special interest in trouble shooting hip issues. She appreciates how Gyrotonic helps her manage and prevent pain flares associated with her hypermobile EDS. She has been continuously inspired over her years of teaching with how it helps people with so many different conditions regain health or simply improve their athletic ability. She performs and choreographs contemporary dance theater having performed in NYC, Berlin, Melbourne, Portland and here in Seattle. She has a BFA in dance from Cornish College of the Arts.
