COVID-19 Policies and Practices

How We're Protecting Each Other to Stay Healthy

We look forward to seeing you at our studio!

Here's what we're doing to help reduce the spread of germs and how you can be a part of that effort.

General Studio Practices & Procedures to Reduce Coronavirus Exposure Risk

Seattle Changing Room is implementing the following practices and procedures to reduce coronavirus exposure risk for all individuals who visit and work at the studio.

  • Symptom monitoring and temperature checks for all visitors

  • Requiring hand-washing with soap and water or use of hand sanitizer upon arrival

  • Maintaining a regular schedule of cleaning and disinfection, especially for high-touch areas

  • Requiring mask-wearing by trainers, staff and visitors while at the studio

  • Observing 6-feet social distancing requirements as much as possible

  • Making hand sanitizer and disinfecting agents available throughout the space

  • Limiting tower availability and staggering instructor work schedules

  • Spacing exercise equipment at least 6 feet apart where possible to facilitate social distancing

  • Cleaning and disinfecting shared equipment and props after every use

Updated Client Forms and New COVID-19 Commitment and Waiver

On your first post-reopening visit to the studio, we'll ask you to complete and sign updated client forms and a new COVID-19 waiver, as required by Washington state for reopening fitness businesses.

If you'd like to save time at your session, access the forms here to complete them at home.

Bring your completed forms with you to your first session.

Additional Guidelines

In addition to the practices above, here are some additional important practices to follow:

  • Please monitor for COVID-19 and do not come to the studio if:

    • you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, or

    • you have had close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, or

    • you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are still within the 14-day quarantine period.

  • Sanitize your hands and check your temperature at our front desk sanitation station.

  • Wash your hands upon arrival and before you leave the studio.

  • Wear a mask and maintain 6 feet social distancing while at the studio.

  • Bring your own bath-size towel for use on equipment.

  • Dress prepared for your workout.

  • Bring a water bottle for your own use.  You may use our filtered water tap to fill it.

  • A COVID-19 safety briefing will be done at the start of your session, as required by the state.

  • Please help your instructor clean and disinfect equipment and props at the end of your session.

  • Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your time with us as safe and enjoyable as possible.

Thank you for joining us in our efforts to protect each other and stay healthy!
